Are they mocking Glenn Beck? Or the intense hatred of Glenn Beck that has become de rigueur for all sane Americans? Who cares! It's funny!

The video is from The Onion, a site known for its outlandish and often offensive humor, and it's extremely over-the-top. You don't think it's possible you've missed the joke entirely, and that it's actually mocking those whose hatred of Beck is so extreme that they would wish, upon hearing of an unrelated tragedy, that it somehow involved him?

Predicting that persons such as yourself might be a bit too dense to pick up on the subtleties of professional humor-writing, I even hinted at this possibility in my post, which is only 4 sentences long and thus should have been pretty readable.

Suggestion: Before retyping well-worn cliches about "liberals," take at least, let's say, 15 seconds to consider the subject you wish to discuss and whether or not your critique is knee-jerk or well-reasoned. Trust me...your 3 spambot Twitter followers will appreciate it, and so will I.

Additionally, I don't go onto Twitter to "tweet." You'll notice that by how little I do do it. Frankly, I get sick of Twitter. The only reason I'm on it is to follow a few of my favorite sports team athletes, Jason, and Newt Gingrich, the left leaning Republican.
